About Encounter 22
We know choosing the path of missions, whether for a short or long time, is a big decision that requires a lot of forethought. It can be difficult to know where you fit.
We believe all followers of Christ are called to engage in the Great Commission. God’s heart for the world and His purpose for the Church have never changed. He desires to use us to glorify His name among the nations.
You are uniquely made in the image of God with your own passions and story. So, as you encounter the story God is writing, how does it connect with yours?
As you answer that question, sometimes it takes the perspective of someone who has gone before you to give guidance and assurance. That’s why we’re inviting our missionaries to speak into the missions topics we’re all wondering about: common struggles, what church-planting looks like and life on the field. There will even be opportunities for you to chat with a missionary over coffee or a meal about the questions you have and how your life encounters God’s purposes.
What to Expect
Encounter 22 is a three-day, family-friendly event at Pioneers-USA in Orlando, FL. In this small-scale conference, with an intentionally intimate environment, you’re not just a face in the crowd. You’ll get to encounter God in worship, engage in fellowship with like-minded believers and interact with missionaries serving around the world in both individual and group settings.
The $75 registration fee includes access to all session content, as well as three on campus meals and a conference T-shirt (for adult registrants).
