General
If you’ve ever found yourself wondering if God might be leading you to go the nations but have no idea what that could look like, then this conference is for you. Stepping into missions is a big decision. The goal of Encounter 22 is to make it simpler by giving attendees opportunities to learn from and engage in conversation with missionaries who have been serving around the globe. If you are curious about what your next steps could be, you won’t want to miss this opportunity.
This is a family-friendly event. You are welcome to bring your kids to Encounter, as you might to a church gathering; however, we will not be providing all-day childcare or children’s programs. Instead, we will be providing two breakout sessions for kids on Day 2 of the conference.
The conference will be held August 5-7, 2022 at Pioneers-USA in Orlando, Florida where you can enjoy a lakeside view and Florida sunshine. Our address is 10123 William Carey Dr. Orlando, FL 32832.
Registration
Registration for Encounter is $75 per adult and $25 per child.
Included in your registration will be four main sessions, two breakout sessions, and multiple opportunities to connect and talk with missionaries from around the world, as well as a conference T-shirt (for adult registrants).
Meals included will be one lunch, two dinners, and snacks. You are responsible for lunch on Friday and Sunday. The hotels we recommend offer complimentary breakfasts in the morning.
Your hotel costs are not included in registration. See the travel questions below for further information.
If you’re registering as a group, we ask that you register all attendees at the same time.
Registration will close the day before the conference, August 4, 2022, unless the event is already sold out. The deadline for getting a refund for your ticket is July 1, 2022.
Yes! We have select scholarships available for a waived admission fee. Please email encounter@pioneers.org for more information.
Email encounter@pioneers.org with your full name and email address. Requests received before July 1, 2022 will receive a full refund. After July 1, 2022, no refunds will be provided.
Because flights and hotels are booked separately, refunds for cancellation will need to be negotiated between those specific vendors.
Travel
Click Travel Details to view and book accommodation options. After completing the registration process, you will also receive a confirmation email with links to hotel websites. Each hotel listed offers complimentary shuttles to and from the airport (not available on Sundays) as well as complimentary breakfasts. Pioneers has a limited number of discounted hotel rooms available at the Holiday Inn Express & Suites Orlando (adjacent to our campus), so act fast to claim your spot!
If you are traveling by air, you will want to fly into Orlando International Airport (MCO). This airport is located less than 10 miles from Pioneers, and each of our recommended hotels offers a complimentary airport shuttle.
If you are planning to drive to Encounter, all you need to do is ensure your housing accommodations have been made.
You will be responsible for getting to and from the Pioneers campus each day. The Holiday Inn Express & Suites Orlando is located right next to our campus, so if you stay there, then you will not need to arrange any additional transportation.

If Encounter 2022 is canceled due to COVID-19, a full refund of your registration costs will be issued.
